1-2-1 Mindfulness Training

Life can be busy and stressful. That’s why I offer flexible 1-2-1 Mindfulness Training.

These courses can be accessed from anywhere as Zoom video conferencing is used for the weekly sessions.

A free 30 minute initial consultation with me (Jo Clarke) offers you the opportunity to have a chat about your reasons and objectives for learning mindfulness. People come to mindfulness for a variety of reasons. It might be to declutter the mind, to stop being reactive, to learn new coping strategies for when you feel stressed or anxious, or it might be that you’re feeling that you want to learn more about yourself in a confidential, reflective space. Within this 30 minute session you will have the opportunity to ask me any questions you have about the 8-week programme and to decide whether it’s right for you.

A commitment of 8 weeks is required to complete the full programme and each session lasts for 60-90 minutes. There is also home practice in between each session of approximately 40 minutes per day. Research has shown that people who commit to the home practice during the training are more likely to benefit from the positive effects of the course longer-term.

The rough format of the session is:
– Check-in (how are you?)
– Mindfulness Practice (guided by Jo live in each session)
– Reflection of mindfulness practice
– Exercises (perceptions / coping strategies / recognising alert signals)
– Mindfulness Practice / Home Practice & Questions

You will receive an email after each session with a handbook and the audio tracks to practice with during the week.
